I’ve been joining Comic Fiesta since 2011 or 2012 (When they were still in KLCC), thanks to Beii, a dear friend who actually introduced CF to me! It’s super fun back then! Although I wasn’t doing this as a fulltime job, I was still a college student trying to earn a few bucks from this :p

I join Comic Fiesta every year, except for One year when they didn’t pick me *sour face*
I missed the days in KLCC when public transport was so easy (I just take the LRT to KLCC) It’s a very nice place with super cold air conditionings, nice and clean toilets, and the most important thing of all: You can breath there. The place is VERY well air ventilated!

All changed when the venue changed to The Mines and Putra World Trade Center. I miss the old Place!

Being a vendor in Comic Fiesta is super fun! It’s an event for doujins (art booths that sells anime inspired or original art stuff) & all cosplayers come to this event to showcase their very cool costumes!

So for the previous years I’ve been having art booths, which is just a table with 2 chairs (the basic art booths), you have to squeeze in with the other vendors and be there for like more than 8 to 10 hours inside (oh god). There was once I remember I wanted to pee so much but I couldn’t get out because I was trapped inside, in the middle of the row with ALL THE OTHER VENDORS, I’ll show an example of how scary it is! (this picture was taken by someone i found on google in 2011, nothing close to the worst one in 2015 haha!)

This year, is something different for me! Since I wanted to up the game for TinyPinc, I was thinking to get a bigger booth (the premium booths that comes with walls)

I wanted up my game and make it super spacious with people walking in and all ( I was so wrong, and thank god I didn’t let people walk into that small space) It’s a very small space, like 2 meters by 2 meters space (we could barely breathe in that space) I had friends to come over to help me out throughout the whole 2 days (THANKS MEI FOR DRIVING, YOUR CAR AND MOVING EVERYTHINGGG)

I believe this is the only picture I have of my booth! I tried to make my booth noticable with all the garlands and stuff you see :p Trying to make it colorful, wanted to put some fairy lights but later I gave up (Couldn’t get any fairy lights from the mall near my home because they were all sold out holy crap!)

Since it was my first time having such a space like that I didn’t really fully utilize the space very well. There are a lot more I could have done, like using more racks to bring up everything, instead of just letting people bend down all the time.. Oh wells, more to improve next time!

These are some of the videos I’ve posted on my instagram on Day1 and Day2!

This year was really fun to me, I get to do a few different things and this time put up TINYPINC high up on my booth :p Hope to join Comic Fiesta again next year!
